I have a nice pastel spring collection to review for you all. The Barielle Sweet Treats collection consists of a shimmery blue, a pastel yellow, pastel purple, a bright chartreuse, and a vibrant coral.
First up is Barielle Blue Cotton Candy. I was in love with this color in the bottle. It is a gorgeous blue with a silver shimmer. This is the only shimmer in the collection. The application was great on this one, two coats covered completely. After I applied it though, I think it washed out my skin tone.
Up next is Barielle Green Apple Chew. This is probably my second favorite from this collection. this bright chartreuse green is one of my favorite colors, and the application on this polish was not bad at all. It was a little on the thick side, and two coats covered with no VNL.
Barielle Orange Parfait is my absolute favorite from this collection. It is a gorgeous coral that applied well with two coats.I've worn this twice already since receiving the collection to review, and it lasted three days before I removed it to apply another polish.
Barielle Banana Drop is a light yellow. the formula on this one is a little thick, but like Green Apple Chew applied in two coats with no VNL.
The final polish in this collection is Barielle Lilac Jelly Bean. This pale lilac purple applied well in two coats, but similarly to Green Apple Chew and Banana Drop was on the thick side. It was not unmanageable though.
Overall I think this is a great spring collection. My favorite color from this collection would definitely be Orange Parfait, followed by Green Apple Chew. My least favorite would have to be Blue Cotton Candy, because I think that it washes out my skin tone, and that it is the only shimmer in this collection.

Holo Basecoat Comparison and Review!
So, holographic polishes can be hard to deal with. They can be streaky, especially as you add more layers of polish. This is my review on different base coats that I used with the most holographic polish I own, MakeUpStore Greta. I do not own the Nfu Oh Aqua Base, but after this review I don't think I will need it.
Overview and ratings:
1st place: Pinky: Nail Foil Glue
2nd place: Middle: G&G Stuck on Blu
3rd place: Ring: LA Colors Blue base
4th place: Pointer: Gelous
From top to bottom, I will go through the base coat, how well it applied, how the polish applied, and how it looked afterwards. For all of these photos I used 1 coat of base coat, followed by 2 coats of polish.
- Pointer: Gelous Base Coat: Gelous is just a regular base coat, so it didn't do anything spectacular. The polish went on the streakiest with Gelous compared to the other 3, and in the photo you can tell it. This was the worst of all of the base coats.
- Middle: Glisten and Glow's Stuck on Blu Base coat: (purchase here) This is a new base coat from Glisten and Glow which was sent to me for review. I thought the true test of its abilities would be with a holo, and I have to say, that it applied very well. Of all the ones tested it would have to be my second favorite base coat for holo polishes following the pinky finger. The first coat was not very streaky, and the second coat was fine as well. This basecoat is great for general use, and I have been using it daily.
- Ring: LA Colors Blue Base coat: This one has been raved about as a cheap alternative to the aqua base, so I had to try it out on my base coat test, and this one would come in 3rd. It was still a little streaky, more streaky than Stuck on Blu, when the second coat was applied. I also had a bald patch which shows up in the nail.
- Pinky: Nail Foil Glue: This one I have to say worked the best. I used Nail Foil Glue for the base coat, and it worked magic on my nails. The first coat was much more holographic than the previous fingers, and the second coat was perfection. I will definitely be using this one as my base coat for holos from now on, because it literally held on to the holographic pigments in the polish.
****UPDATE****
It has only been 9 hours since applying this polish without topcoat, and the nail foil glue has chipped at the tips. All other nails are holding up just fine.

Review: Hong Kong Girl Top Coat
I have had the amazing honor of purchasing from Jill at Glisten and Glow a couple of times. Every time has been exceptionally wonderful. Today I have a rave review of Hong Kong Girl Topcoat, which can be purchased through her store on her facebook page or by email. Jill has AMAZING customer service, her packages are packed very well, and ships really fast.
This topcoat is amazing. I absolutely love it, I have found myself reaching for it non stop, when I usually reach for my Seche Vite.
It is so great over nail art, it is thick enough so you don't touch the nail polish, but it doesn't get goopy halfway through the bottle like Seche Vite. It is super shiny, dries super fast, and overall I think this is my superhero topcoat. (I just ordered another bottle!)
This is the bottle with the cute tag that Jill uses. (she doesn't make the topcoat, but she re-bottles and resells it to her customers, It's definitely a bestseller!)
I have used this topcoat on quite a few of my previous manis. It leaves them super shiny, I don't think I will ever need another topcoat!
Here is the Info Jill gave me for her shop! If you have time, you should totally check it out!

Kiss Nail Dress Review
I am a huge fan of polish. When I signed up for Influenster I never expected I would be chosen to receive a VoxBox, but I did! I received the Love VoxBox last week, and have been testing out the products over the past week, and today I have for you Kiss Nail Dress, which are nail decals that you can wear instead of painting your nails. These types of instant polish have been big lately, and honestly I like painting my nails, so before now I had never owned any of these. Today I bring you my review. :)
The instructions on the back of the package:
Step 1: select size that fits the nail
Step 2: apply near, not on cuticle, &smooth away from center
Step 3: fold down over edge &file excess.
Right Hand:
Left Hand(which I normally don't show):
The main problem I have with this kit is the file given. This file is very rough. I would personally never use a file that rough on my nails, and I don't like it. They left the edge of the nail rough and I can still feel the product on the tips of my nails. I believe this file is to blame. below you can see the rough free edges.
Do I like this product: yes! I think that these are a very easy way for everyone to have art on their nails without sitting down to paint your nails or going to the salon.
Would I purchase again?: Probably not, they are not for me, I enjoy painting my nails. They would be perfect for the person that is on the go all the time, or for someone who wants a quick fix, without any drying time.
