Kiss Nail Dress Review

I am a huge fan of polish.  When I signed up for Influenster I never expected I would be chosen to receive a VoxBox, but I did! I received the Love VoxBox last week, and have been testing out the products over the past week, and today I have for you Kiss Nail Dress, which are nail decals that you can wear instead of painting your nails.  These types of instant polish have been big lately, and honestly I like painting my nails, so before now I had never owned any of these.  Today I bring you my review.  :)

"Fashion That Sticks
Introducing Kiss Nail Dress, ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes! Just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover. Nail Dress is available in 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs. Check out Peplum, a deep black with multi-colored gems for a pop of color, or Babydoll, for a golden and glamorous jeweled look. Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in.

With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails. Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani. A nail design booklet is included in each package, just in case you need a little inspiration.

And don’t forget about your feet! Nail Dress looks awesome on toes, too – just use the square side of the sticker for a perfect fit.

Where to Buy
Nail Dress’ suggested retail is $6.99 and is available in all major drug chains and mass retailers like WalMart, CVS and Walgreens.

The instructions on the back of the package:

Step 1: select size that fits the nail
Step 2: apply near, not on cuticle, &smooth away from center
Step 3:  fold down over edge &file excess.

Right Hand:

Left Hand(which I normally don't show):

The main problem I have with this kit is the file given.  This file is very rough. I would personally never use a file that rough on my nails, and I don't like it.   They left the edge of the nail rough and I can still feel the product on the tips of my nails. I believe this file is to blame. below you can see the rough free edges.

Do I like this product: yes! I think that these are a very easy way for everyone to have art on their nails without sitting down to paint your nails or going to the salon.

Would I purchase again?: Probably not, they are not for me, I enjoy painting my nails.  They would be perfect for the person that is on the go all the time, or for someone who wants a quick fix, without any drying time.

 XOX Caitlin

  1. I've tried these! I love the pattern, but they are not so fun when applying. Mine bunched up at the ends.

  2. I've also tried these, and I really like them. I haven't tried the expensive Sally Hansen ones, but for the price (around $3), I was very pleased with the Kiss nail sticker thingies. I have short nails so I cut my nail strips to fit my nails and then I used one of my own files to smooth out the edges. I didn't use a topcoat, so mine also bunched up at the edges like P&C mentioned above.
