Orly Foul Play

Soooooo over the weekend I went with my roommates to see Rocky Horror Picture Show in Charleston, and guess what I came across at Ulta... one lonely bottle of foul play.  Of course I bought it! It was so lonely there sitting at the bottom back of the rack. :(  He sure is happy on my nails now though. :)

Foul Play is an amazing polish with a dark purple jelly base, small silver glitter, slightly larger blue glitter and flakies that are orange with a green duochrome shine.  let me just say amazing!!
In these pictures I used 3 coats of Foul Play, with one coat of Seche Vite.

This is pic heavy.  I also found that my bathroom lighting was actually able to show the duochrome!

Enjoy!

Here you can see the purple jelly base.

LOOK AT THAT AMAZING DUOCHROMENESSSSSS!!

I hope I did it justice. :)

Hopefully I will be able to post a new mani tomorrow!

NOTD

This morning I decided I wanted to do a black matte, but not just any black matte. I wanted to do an awesome black matte. wanna see what I came up with?

Of course you do! because its awesome. :P

I know... glitter on my cuticles.. but it comes off in the shower...

Anywho, back to these awesome nails. I used Seche Base(so it doesn't stain), 2 coats of Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris, I concentrated some Ulta Pinata-yada on the base and placed the others around it, and then I used Essie Matte About You in two coats to give it that extra something.  And that extra something is awesomeness.  ok enough talking and on to more picture spam! (I got a little carried away with my camera. :)  )

What do you think?  Let me know in the comments!

GLITTER BOMB!

Hi Guys!!

Ok, so I broke my No-Buy for two Sinful Colors... but they were only .99!  I bought a red one (because for some reason i dont have much plain red in my stash. idk?)  and this beauty right here.  Sinful Colors Savage. (warning! Messy Cuticles...)

Anywho... yes this is a beautiful matte turquoise... but I thought it needed a little extra oomph.  So I did what any polish-aholic would do and GLITTER BOMBED IT! Oh yeah.   WE shall see how long I can stand this chunky glitter...

This is two coats of SC Savage and then the tips are glitter bombed with Revlon Blue Mosaic. Me likey.

(In that creepy tv voice...) OhYeah.. !   Overall I like it.  I just don't like how chunky it is at the tips.  It makes it difficult to type...

And I have a surprise for you all today!

Without further ado...
Meet Mr. Bingley!

Mr. Bingley is my roommates kitty that we rescued from a shelter. He is a sweetheart and he decided to come and visit me up the stairs.  Isn't he precious!

Well I hope you enjoyed these nails, and a look at my little buddy. :)

Until next time,

A few of my Favorites!

Right now I am rocking my favorite color - Chartreuse!  And my current favorite glitter- a Pumpkin Polish I bought at Rite Aid! The green polish is 3 coats of China Glaze Electric Pineapple and then  a top layer of Glitter!  Its the same glitter that I used earlier with China Glaze For Audrey, but this time its over another pretty color!  This is just a basic mani that I love to wear to school when I want something easy. :)

Let me just say..... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS.  The green is amazing. And the black and silver are like amazing polkadots!   You can actually see my scar on my thumb... how weird.  I didnt notice it until i opened this pic. lol. Lets just say that I had an accident with a plastic butter knife.. and I almost passed out.. lol

Heres a close up and a low light shot.

Another pic of the AMAZING color.

And a cute bottle shot. :)

I hope im not boring you guys with this glitter.  I just think its amazeballs!! you can see how much I've already used up... I guess I need to get another bottle before it goes away!

I'm super excited about my OPI win!! I can't wait to get it in the mail so i can swatch it for you guys! :)

Psycho

So OPI was holding a contest for halloween movie nails, so i decided to join in.  The movie I chose was Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock.  A total classic. :)  So without further ado here you are!

I absolutely love how these turned out.  I hope you do too!

I love doing halloween nails.  Halloween is my favorite holiday, besides Christmas. I still haven't decided what im going to dress up as for halloween. I'm debating between Elphaba from Wicked or maybe Aurora if i can find a crown.

anywho... I hope this finds you all well, and have a good night!

epic rhinestone FAIL

So i wanted to do something cute.  I decided to use Color Club Almost Famous from the Poptastic collection(this is my favorite!! you will definitely see more of them!!) So this is what it looked like. :)

This is Two Coats of Almost Famous.  I think that this is the perfect bright sunny yellow. :)

I had a little boo boo on my ring finger tip.. oopsie.

So then comes the fun part. Rhinestones. These are not any rhinestones. they are dollar tree rhinestones. lol.  So it is safe to say that they are not the best quality. but hey, they serve the purpose I want them to.  But i have a few issues! First off,  I know that there are bubbles. EW.  Noone likes bubbles. but I think its because im using an old bottle of Seche that is SUPER thick.  I think its time for me to move on to a new bottle. I also think that the air will just get trapped because of the rhinestones anyway.  So I was probably doomed to fail.   lol.  I also think I need to have a pattern for them next time instead of just putting them on there until I feel like it has enough. :P

I seem to have MONSTER bubbles in the nail.  but you cant really notice it from afar.

This is HORRENDOUS.  Look at those awful bubbles. :(

If you have any tips for me and my horrific rhinestone application leave me a comment!

Thanks a bunch for reading!

Until next time!

Quick Post!

Soooooooo I just wanted to do a quick post about my favorite polish EVER.  It's Warhol by Color Club, and it is everything I love in a pink polish.  It has a perfect formula, applying completely opaque in two coats, and appearing "Juicy" in my opinion.  There is no topcoat or base coat in these pics.  Just two coats of Warhol goodness. :)  It almost glows in the sunlight(pic bottom with flash!).  Its sure to bring attention to your nails!

I just wanted to share my amazing WARHOL-NESS.

And who doesnt love the name? :P

Black and Silver Pumpkin Sparkle

So I havent posted in a few days because my memory card for my camera has been messing up. :(  But today I found my other memory card and now I can post again!

So, a few days ago I picked up the Black and Silver Pumpkin Glitter at Rite Aid and boy am I glad that I did.  It satisfied my Lemming for Wet N Wild's On The Prowl - Tangled in my Web(although if i came across it I wouldn't pass it up.)  So I have a few pictures for you of the Black and Silver Pumpkin Glitter over China Glaze's For Audrey.  Let me just say that I LOVE this.  It wears very well.

I would like to say that I wore this for 2 days when I took these pictures, and I have virtually no tip wear.  No gritty glitter texture either.

This is one coat Seche Clear base coat, Two coats of China Glaze For Audrey, and one placed coat of the Black and Silver Pumpkin Glitter, topped off with Seche Vite.   :)

Enjoy!

Cotton Candy Heaven

Soooooo all you nail fanatics know what this is...

Its a Deborah Lippmann Dupe for Candy Shop

I used a clear bottle from Wet N Wild, and i dumped Ulta's Pinata-yada-yada and Wet N Wild's Party of Five Glitters into it.  Then I used Sinful Colors Star Fish and a tad bit of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Fuschia Power.

yeah that's right.

I got my frankening on.

Novela Rosa

So for this Franken i Used a pink that i had with no name, an Empty Wet N Wild bottle and some glitter i picked up at Walmart (it came with a funnel)!

Oh, And don't forget your ballz!

This is the final product:

I have yet to try it on my nails, but when I do, I'll be sure to post pics!

This was very easy. I very much could have just put the glitter into the bottle, but i wanted to use the other half of the bottle for something else. I like franken-ing so far!

New stuff!!

I just got 3 colors from Revlon at Ulta for really cheap,  They were buy 2 get one free, and i have the beauty coupon, so i got 3 polishes for $6!  I'm so proud of myself. :)

I also got the rest of the Color Club Boho collection, so now i have it all!  I dont think i have posted about my color club collection, but everytime i go to Ross, I find a new set that i dont own! 7 polishes for 7.99 is a great deal i think, especially for the quality, because some of the colors are amazing and go on flawlessly, while others may not be as satisfactory.  Im very happy with Color Club in general, so i will definitely be buying more. :)

Swatches to come in the next few Days!! :)

I am still on the hunt for the Wet N' Wild On The Prowl collection... I have yet to come across it at Walgreens, CVS, or Rite Aid. :(  I really want Behind Closed Doors and Tangled in my web.
